The school offers small classes with a maximum of 10 students. Classes can be accommodated on a Sunday, or in the evening or during school hours to fit in with students’ work and family commitments.
The classes are hard work but fun! Cedric the skeleton is the quietest member of the group!

ITEC Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology
|
|
This course covers most of the major and minor systems of the body in detail – their structure both to the naked eye and under the microscope and the way in which they function. Having studied how a perfect system works we also look at what can happen when aspects go wrong

ITEC Diploma in Business Awareness and Professionalism
This course covers all the areas you need in order to set up a business practice of your own. It looks at the necessary regulations and legislation affecting your business, identifies good practice in areas such as communication, advertising etc. and much much more.
This course is run concurrently with either Diploma in Holistic Massage or Diploma in Indian Head Massage.
A one-hour multichoice examination is set by ITEC.

ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage
This course is both theoretical and practical. It encompasses the history of massage, the performance of classical massage moves adapted to the need of the client, client care, consultation methods and contraindications and aftercare including knowledge of other therapies. It revises some of the subjects studied in the Anatomy & Physiology Diploma,
Case Studies are required for this award.
A one-hour multichoice examination and ¾ hour practical examination is set by ITEC with external examiners.

ITEC Diploma in Indian Head Massage
This course is both theoretical and practical. It encompasses the history of Indian Head Massage, Ayurvedic medicine, the performance of classical massage moves adapted to the needs of the client, client care, use of oils, consultation methods and contraindications and aftercare including other therapies. It revises some of the subjects studied in the Anatomy & Physiology Diploma.
Case studies are required for this award.
A ½ hour multichoice and ½ hour practical examination is set by ITEC with external examiners.

ITEC Diploma in Aromatherapy
This course is both theoretical and practical. It encompasses the history and definition of aromatherapy. It studies the properties in depth of a minimum of 42 essential oils including their chemical make-up, methods of extraction and therapeutic uses. Up-to-date legislation is studies. Correct blending and dosing, buying and storing is studies. The anatomy of the skin is revised and the structure of the olfactory and limbic systems is studied. All means of application are taught and practiced including massage.
This course required that the student has a Diploma in Holistic Massage as well as the foundation subjects of Anatomy & Physiology and Business Studies.

ITEC Diploma in Stone Therapy Massage
This fast growing therapy can be incorporated into all your existing treatments. This course is both theoretical and practical. The course looks at the history behind Stone Therapy Massage. Included is the use of chakras and auric energy, contraindications and appropriate client care. You will learn how to care for the stones and equipment, correct stone placement and the Stone Therapy Massage sequence. The course explores the physiological and psychological effects of thermotherapy and the use of alternating temperature. All aspects of home care, integral biology and health and safety will be covered

Hopi Ear Candle Therapy 5 CPD points
This course is a one day workshop with a theoretical assessment and case study obligation. It looks at the history of candling, the composition of the candles, the anatomy and physiology of the ear and paranasal sinuses, common conditions treated and aftercare.

Introduction to Colour Therapy 5 CPD Points
This is a one-day workshop with a theoretical assessment. It looks at the history of colour, the aura and chakras, how colour ‘feels’, its use positive and negative attributes. A day of fun and laughter. Available from March 2009.

Level I
A two day course leading to attunement to enable the student to give Reiki to self, family and friends.

Level II
A two day course leading to attunement to enable the student to channel Reiki using symbols and to perform distance healing. This level allows the person to work on clients.

Level III practitioner and teacher.
This course is held over a period of at least 6 months and allows the practitioner to work at Master level
