Stella Chenery

Stella has worked in the health field since 1968 when she began her Orthopaedic Nursing Certificate at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford and went on to achieve her SRN nursing qualification at Charing Cross Hospital, London. She has also worked abroad in a Shriner's Hospital in the USA and spent 3 years working with an osteopath in Bristol.

This experience in allopathic medicine has proved invaluable as she is able to combine both orthodox and complementary knowledge in her practice and leads to great anecdotes in her teaching!

Stella still practices and feels passionately that therapies should be available to everyone, so that the stresses of 21st century life do not turn into physical illnesses.

Alison Rostern

Alison has worked within the NHS at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital since 1995 starting off in the Accident and Emergency Department and then going on to work for a Consultant Urologist for the last 11 years. Looking for a new interest led her to Serenity School of Complementary Therapies in Southbourne where she found her passion. Having qualified in Indian Head Massage, Holistic Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Reiki, an opportunity arose to consider teaching the same therapies and she therefore went on to gained a teaching qualification. She brings the same passion to her teaching as her therapies and looks forward to inspiring her students with the same enthusiasm for a wonderful life changing experience.

Laura Brady

Laura has been ITEC qualified since 1997, when she first trained in Anatomy & Physiology and Swedish Massage. Laura then added to her skills by qualifying in Sports Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Beauty Specialist. Each year she undertakes Continual Professional Development by attending various workshops to build on my knowledge. Laura has enjoyed many different trainings such as, Daoyin Tao, Clinical and Remedial Massage, Myofascial Release, Hydrotherm Massage, Stress Management, Hands Free Massage, Lava Shell Massage, Shellac, Minx, Semi-permanent lashes & Spray Tanning, just to name a few!

Laura has been teaching 6th Form and Adults for Brockenhurst College since 2004, in a variety of ITEC Holistic and Beauty qualifications and feels fortunate enough to join the Serenity School team of tutors and look forward to imparting her knowledge and skills to her students.
